Commercial Spaces Finalist

Project Name: Illuminated Wall – Wellington International Airport Designer:  Studio Pacific Architecture Contributing Professionals: Claude Group, Mainzeal, SKM PSP Products Used:  PSP Plexiglas Satinice - Kiwi

The intention for this design was to create a wall to aid intuitiveness in finding the way to the International Departures area.

Plexiglas Satinice was found to be an ideal material to achieve the aesthetic wanted due to its weight, translucency, and vivid colour options.

The Plexiglas Satinice is backlit with an array of fluorescent lamps which energises the wall and enhances the New Zealand imagery that has been applied on vinyl to both faces of the wall.
